The tour will officially start from Alipurduar Railway Station. From the railway station, you will be transferred to the resort at Buxa/Jayanti. It will take not more than 45 minutes to reach your Resort from the Alipurduar Railway Station. Check into the resort and have some rest. Meanwhile, your lunch will be ready to be served. 4N 5D Dooars Package includes Buxa and Jayanti sightseeing on day 2. Breakfast will be prepared for you and then served. After that begin your sightseeing. You first go for a 45 minutes trek towards Buxa Fort which is now in ruins but once used to be jail to hold captive the freedom fighters. Visit Pokhari Hill, a sacred pond with many magur fishes and decades-old turtles. In Jayanti, visit TGN Watchtower from where you will be able to see wild animals. End this sightseeing excursion by visiting Jayanti Mahakal Cave which is a sacred religious site solely dedicated to Lord Shiva. Once the sightseeing is over, get back to your resort. As today’s sightseeing is over, have rest in your room. Have your dinner in the evening and then overnight stay at Buxa/Jayanti.

After breakfast, today’s sightseeing will start. First, you will visit Phuntsholing, a Bhutanese town adjacent to the Indo-Bhutan border. Just before entering Phuentsholing, you will see dragon craved colorful Bhutan Gate. Upon entering Phuentsholing, visit Amo Chhu Crocodile Breeding Centre, Karbandi Monastery, etc. After lunch, you will be driven towards the pre-booked resort at Jaldapara. After checking in you are free for the evening, either you can stay at your resort room and take rest or else take a stroll around the locality. Stay overnight at Jaldapara.

From your resort at Jaldapara, go for Chilapata sightseeing. Nestled beside the shimmering Torsha River, this forest acts as a natural corridor for the wild animals between Jaldapara and Buxa. Visit the ancient Nal Raja Fort in Chilapata. After Chilapata sightseeing, drive towards Coochbehar, a city full of historical architecture and attractions. The most prominent attraction of this historic city is the Rajbari or the Coochbehar Palace. Another favorite attraction for tourists is Coochbehar Madan Mohan Temple with its spectacular architecture that is sure to steal your heart. Rasikbill that attracts migratory birds from Central Asia and Ladakh during winter season is one of the natural water bodies of this princely town.
