From NJP or Bagdogra Aiport, get received by our representative. He will assist you to get transferred to Jaladapara with our experienced driver. The journey time will be 4 hours and you will cover a road distance of 135 km. Your accommodation will be pre-booked in a private resort in Jaldapara. After lunch, visit South Khayerbari Nature Park. It is also known as Leopard and Royal Bengal Tiger rescue center. Here you can see Royal Bengal Tiger and Leopard being treated. You have the evening free for yourself; you can either relax in your resort room or go for a walk around the neighborhood. Jaldapara is a good place to spend the night after this sightseeing excursion.

Wake up early as it is the day of the Jungle safari in this Dooars Itinerary for 5 Days. Spot unique wild animals, trees, and birds during your safari through the dense forest of Jaldapara. Just after the safari, have your breakfast and then proceed for your visit to Phuentsholing. It is a border town in Bhutan known for its vibrant tourist attractions. Here you will get to see attractions like Bhutan Gate, Amo Chhu Crocodile Breeding Centre, and Karbandi Monastery. On a remaining day, go for Buxa Jayanti sightseeing. Visit Rajabhatkhawa Watchtower, Pokhri Hill, TGN Watchtower, and Jayanti Mahakal Cave respectively. After the sightseeing is over get back to your resort and you are free for rest of the day. Stay overnight at Jaldapara.

It’s time to say farewell to Jaldapara after a few days there. After breakfast, you will depart towards Lataguri, crossing 80 kilometers in 2 hours. Lataguri is a small township in the Jalpaiguri District, located on the outskirts of Gorumara National Park and surrounded by extensive sub-tropical forested areas. Lataguri is the main entrance of Gorumara National Park. After you’ve had lunch at your resort, your Gorumara Jungle Safari will begin.

Choose one of the two scheduled jungle safaris between 2 and 5 p.m. based on your preferences. Gorumara National Park is home to 50 mammals and covers an area of 79.9 square kilometers, so chances of seeing wildlife are good. Barking deer and bison are the most regularly seen animals. I hope you have a great time on your exciting safari and return to your resort in a good mood. Lataguri is a good place to spend the night.

You will be served your breakfast at the Lataguri Resort and then go sightseeing excursion at Samsing, Sunthalekhola, Rocky Island, Bindu, Jhalong, and Jaldhaka. We’ll take you to Samsing in the beginning. Visit the Samsing Tea Garden to enjoy the fascinating beauty of the lush green tea gardens with a breathtaking view of the Himalayas in the background. Your next destination is the picturesque and peaceful town of Sunthalekhola. Before lunch, the last stop is exciting Rocky Island, where Asley Jhora emerges as Murti River after crossing the plains. Many sports, such as rock climbing or angling, can be organized for you here, or you can simply sit on a rock and enjoy the enchanting beauty of Asley Jhora.

Sightseeing after lunch will begin with a visit to Jhalong. It takes an hour to drive from Rocky Island to Jhalong, a distance of 25 kilometers. Jhalong is best known for its Hydro Electricity Project on the Jaldhaka River, which runs along the India-Bhutan border. Jaldhaka Valley is the next stop on your itinerary. Jaldhaka is a river valley with a breathtaking panorama. After visiting Bindu, West Bengal’s last hamlet, your day’s sightseeing will come to an end. You will be able to see the breathtaking spectacle of Dooar’s plains and Bhutan hills. Now that the sightseeing is done, it’s time to return to your Lataguri resort room. Murti, when you say goodbye to Lataguri, you’ll be on your way to a picturesque landscape with a gurgling river, arid forest, and the blue Himalaya in the distance. Enjoy the perfect combination of river, mountain, and woods in Murti for a while before bidding farewell to this magnificent hamlet. Following that, you will have the opportunity to explore Malbazar. Murti is approximately a 30-minute drive from Murti. Malbazar is an awe-inspiring Dooars hamlet known for its sacred Hanuman Temple. It is now time for us to transport you to NJP/ Bagdogra.
