Upon your arrival at Hasimara Railway Station, our friendly representative will welcome you. From the railway station, you will be taken to the pre-booked hotel in Phuentsholing or Jaigaon. It will be a journey of about 1 hour only to reach your hotel whether it is in Jaigaon or Phuentsholing. Two of Phuentsholing’s most noteworthy attractions are the Amo Chhu crocodile breeding center and Bhutan Gate. Change your clothes and check into your hotel. You will be free for the rest of the evening once you have obtained the Inner Line Permit. Stay in Phuentsholing for the night.
From Phuentsholing or Jaigaon, you will start a journey of 6 hours towards Thimphu. The journey will truly feel like a short one as the road leading towards Thimphu is full of pictorial sights. You will get to see the great view of the valley from your car’s window. Have lunch on the way to Thimphu. Upon reaching check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening you are free to rest in the hotel room or else you can take a stroll in the market area of Thimphu and don’t forget to taste the local delicacies. Stay overnight at Thimphu.
Thimphu sightseeing will be conducted on day 3 of your Bhutan Tour Package with Thimphu Paro and Punakha sightseeing. Begin your sightseeing excursion by visiting Memorial Chorten. It was built in the memory of 3rd Drukpa Gyalpo. Next visit Motithang Takin Preserve. Here, you will be able to see Bhutan’s national animal takin. BBS Tower will be the next form where enjoy the astonishing view of the entire city. You will be visiting the National Textile Museum of Bhutan, Thimphu Dzong, Buddha Dordnma, and Buddha Viewpoint one by one. Many travelers have been charmed by the twilight vista of Thimphu Valley from Buddha’s viewpoint. After taking in the breathtaking view of Thimphu Valley, return to your hotel. Spend the night in Thimphu.
Paro will be your next destination where you will be transferred via Punakha. On your way, you will be stopping at Dochula Pass where there are 108 memorial chortens at an elevation of 10,171 ft above sea level. The magnificent view of Bhutan’s north-eastern provinces from Dochula Pass will definitely take your breath away. Punakha is 58 kilometers from here. Punakha is a historic town in Bhutan located on the banks of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers at an elevation of 3,937 feet.
In Punakha, you will be seeing Pungtang Dewa Chhenbi Phodrang commonly known as Punakha Dzong. It was built in the year 1637 and is one of the oldest in entire Bhutan. Punakha Dzong with its monumental structure has been a must visit places in Punakha Valley from where travelers can get a spectacular view of the scenic surrounding. After having our lunch we will proceed towards Paro. 127 km is the distance between Punakha and Paro and it takes approximately 4 hours to drive. Check in to your hotel at Paro and freshen up. You can take a rest or else stroll around this magnificent town. Stay overnight at Paro.
Paro is the city you will be exploring on day 5. Pro is a breathtaking town which is mostly known for the Taktsang Monastery which is built on the cliffside. It is a two-hour trek to reach Taktsang Monastery. Those who can’t trek can hire a pony to reach the monastery. You will get the most spectacular view of Paro valley from the monastery. National Museum of Bhutan is located in the Conch shaped building of Ta Dzong. Here you will find artifacts dating back to the 2nd century that will give you an insight into the early Bhutanese era. After lunch, we will take you to Paro Dzong. Paro Dzong is known as the Fortress on a Heap of Jewel, is also listed under the tentative sites of UNESCO. Since the main sanctum housing, the Thondrol of Guru Rinpoche opens only during the annual Tsechu you can only walk in the courtyard of the Dzong. After enjoying the exotic sight of the purple jacaranda trees and the shimmering water of Po Chhu and Mo Chhu return to your hotel. You are free for the rest of the day. After launch, you may take a stroll around the locality to get acquainted with the local cultures. Stay overnight at Paro.
You will proceed to Hasimara after having your early morning breakfast in the hotel. From Paro to Hasimara it is a 6 hrs journey.
