Day 1 : Transfer to Thimphu

Our representative will welcome you on your arrival at Hasimara and then will take you to Phuentsholing for making the Inner Line Permit. From Phuentsholing the journey towards Thimpu will take around 6 hrs. Thimpu the capital city is the only city of Bhutan that will give you the flavor of an impeccable blend of past and present in its astounding architecture. The road leading towards Thimphu are laid on the hilly terrain. The pictorial landscape of dense conifer trees and scenic valleys will accompany you throughout your journey. Have lunch on the way to Thimphu. Check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening you are free to rest in your hotel or else you can take a stroll in the market area of Thimphu and don’t forget to taste the local delicacies. Stay overnight at Thimphu.

Day 2 : Thimpu Sightseeing

You will be taken to explore Thimphu after having your breakfast at the hotel. Visit Memorial Chorten which is the memorial of 3rd Drukpa Gyalpo. Memorial Chorten’s jaw-dropping architecture and serene ambiance will captivate your mind. Your next destination is the Mothitang Takin Reserve. Takin, the national animal of Bhutan, is preserved here. It is best to visit this place during the morning session, as Takin approaches the fences to eat. This unique animal has attracted the interest of many animal lovers with its peculiar appearance. Next, visit the BBS Tower for a panoramic view of the city of Thimphu. After a few clicks, we arrive at the National Textile Museum. Next visit Thimphu Dzong which is also known as Trashichhoe Dzong. Kuensal Phodrang Nature Park and Buddha Dordenma will be the attractions you will be visiting before ending today’s sightseeing excursion in Thimphu. Back to the hotel for dinner and then a night stay.

Day 3 : Transfer to Punakha

You will be transferred to Punakha by our experienced driver. The journey will be of 4 to 5 hours from Thimphu to Punakha. On the way spend some quality time at Dochula Pass. Here, behold 108 memorial Chorten which was constructed in the memory of Bhutanese soldiers. Relish the breathtaking view of the Himalayan range from here and then resume your journey towards Punakha. Have your lunch on your way to Punakha. Reach Punakha after a journey of around two and a half hours. You are free for the rest of the day after reaching Punakha. Relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Punakha. Stay overnight at Punakha.

Day 4 : Punakha Sightseeing & Transfer to Paro

Have breakfast at the hotel and then explore all the attractions of Punakha. You will be visiting Punakha Dzong first which is located along the banks of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Punakha Dzong is also known as Pungtang Dewa Chhenbi Phodrang. Punakha Dzong, erected in 1637-38, is Bhutan’s second oldest and largest Dzong. Punakha Dzong, with its massive structure, has long been considered a must-see in the Punakha Valley. The next stop is Druk Wangyal Lhakhang, a temple built in June 2008 with a “pristine” forest of snow-covered Himalayan Mountains as a backdrop. Bhutan’s 100-year monarchy was commemorated with the construction of this memorial. After lunch, we’ll travel to Paro. Punakha and Paro are 127 kilometers apart and take approximately 5 hours to go between them. Get a good night’s sleep in your Paro hotel. You can either relax or explore Paro to get a sense of the place. Spend the night in Paro.

Day 5 : Paro Sightseeing

Day 5 of the Thimphu Paro Punakha Tour Package is all about Paro sightseeing. Visit the cliffside Taktsang Monastery first. Taktsang Monastery is a two-hour journey away. You can either trek or ride a pony. The most stunning view of Paro valley can be had from Taktsang Monastery. The National Museum of Bhutan is housed in Ta Dzong’s Conch-shaped building. Artifacts dating back to the 2nd century can be found here, providing insight into the early Bhutanese era. We will transport you to Paro Dzong after lunch. The Fortress on a Heap of Jewel, Paro Dzong, is also featured on the UNESCO tentative sites list. Return to your accommodation after seeing the fascinating sight of purple jacaranda trees and the glistening water of Po Chhu and Mo Chhu. You have the rest of the day to yourself. Dinner and overnight stay in Paro.

Day 6 : Drop at Hasimara

After your early morning breakfast, you’ll go to Hasimara. It takes 6 hours to get from Paro to Hasimara.
