After a relaxing night in Gangtok, you’ll visit Tsomgo Lake and the Baba Mandir for some sightseeing. Changu Lake, at a height of 12313 feet above sea level, will captivate you with its scenic splendor. After that, try Tibetan noodles to whet your appetite. We’ll then set out on our journey to Baba Mandir. It is a shrine built in commemoration of Harbhajan Singh, an Indian army captain known as the “Hero of Nathu La.” Before returning to Gangtok, take a look at the mandir and Baba’s things. Dinner will be served soon; in the meantime, get some rest. Finally, the second night in Gangtok will be spent.

Check out of your hotel after breakfast and spend the rest of the day exploring Gangtok. Visit Banjhakhri Falls and Energy Park first. Then you’ll go to Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, a well-known institute that performs Tibetan language and culture studies. The next destination will be Rumtek Monastery, which features the Golden Stupa as an added bonus. You’ll travel through a massive stupa known as Dro-Dul Chorten on your way to Dharma Chakra Centre, which was established in 1946 to fend off evil. After that, we’ll transport you to Hanuman Tok, where you’ll visit Lord Hanuman’s temple. Finally, try Gangtok Ropeway to get a 360-degree view of the city.

Get transferred to Lachen after your breakfast. It will be a 6-hour journey covering around 110 kilometers. Stops along the way include Singhik View Point, Seven Sisters Waterfalls, Chungthang, and others. From this viewpoint, get a tantalizing view of the surrounding. Click some photos while standing in front of the waterfall. Once you begin exploring these tourist attractions, this journey will no longer be uninteresting. Once you’ve checked in, make sure you’re in good shape. The remainder of the day is yours to do as you like. Dinner will be given, followed by a stay at Lechen’s homestay.

You will visit Gurudongmar Lake today before being taken to Lachung. Gurudongmar Lake, at 17,800 feet above sea level, is one of the world’s highest lakes. Return to Lachen after appreciating the splendor of this magnificent lake. Check out of your accommodation after lunch and head to Lachen Monastery, where you’ll begin your journey to Lachung via Chungthang. The distance is approximately 47 kilometers; however, due to the possibility of stopping at a few sites for photography, it may take 3 hours to travel. The road leads to the Bhim Nala Waterfall. Lachung is a small village in North Sikkim with a stunning view of snow-capped mountains, vibrant rhododendron valleys, and lush green yak pastures. After dinner, Lachung is a good place to stay the night.

We will be visiting Yumthang Valley today just after your breakfast at the homestay. Yumthang Valley or the valley of Flower Sanctuary in Sikkim is the destination you are visiting first. After that, our driver will drive you towards your hotel in Gangtok. The hot springs, the magnificent river streams, and the surrounding lush greenery will make you fall in love with Yumthang Valley. On your way to Yumthang Valley, you’ll pass through the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary. On your way back from Yumthang, don’t forget to stop by the famous hot spring known for its therapeutic properties.
