From NJP or Bagdogra Airport, you will be received by our representative. Our car will be ready outside to pick you up. You will have a journey of 4 hours and the distance you will cover is around 120 Km. On the route to Gangtok, stop for lunch. When you arrive, check into the hotel. Take a stroll down the lovely M G Marg, where you’ll find bright souvenir shops, cafes, diners, and other shops. While meandering along M G Marg, you will get a better look at Sikkim’s indigenous cultures, colorful traditions, and local foods. Dinner in the evening and then night stay.

Day 2 : Transfer to Lachen

We will arrange your transfer to Lachen today after having your breakfast in Gangtok. On the way to Lachen, you will be stopping at Singhik View Point which is famous for offering the tantalizing view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Siniolchu (22598 ft), stop here on your way to Lachen. Next, you will be stopping for a while at Seven Sisters Waterfalls. From here, enjoy the view of falling water. You’ll pass via Chungthang, a picturesque town on the banks of Lachung Chhu, on your journey. The Teesta River is formed when Chungthang Lachung Chhu and Lachen Chhu meet. Legend has it that Guru Padmasambhava sanctified this location and left his handprints and footprints on a rock here. Make your way to the hotel and once you reach, have a rest. Dinner in the evening and then night stay.

Day 3 : Visit to Gurudongmar Lake & Transfer to Lachung

On day 3 in this Gangtok Lachen Lachung Yumthang Valley Tour Package, early in the morning, you will start your Gurudongmar Lake visiting journey. From Lachen, it is approximately 3 hours driving distance away. Situated at an elevation of 17800 feet above sea level, there are many legends revolving around the lake. According to legends in the 8th Century, Guru Padmasambhava visited this lake, after him, the lake was named. It is also believed that in the 15th century Guru Nanak also visited this place. Return to Lachen after being enchanted by the magnificence of this gorgeous lake.

Following lunch, check out of your hotel and proceed to Lachen Monastery, where you’ll begin your journey to Lachung via Chungthang. The distance is approximately 47 kilometres, however, that may take 3 hours to travel due to the possibility of stopping at a few locations for photography. The Bhim Nala Waterfall is located on the road to Lachung. Lachung is a peaceful little town in North Sikkim with a breathtaking vista of snow-capped mountains, vivid rhododendron valleys, and lush green yak pastures. You will be spending the night at Lachung after dinner.

Day 4 : Visits to Yumthang Valley & Transfer to Gangtok

Early in the morning, you will be driven to Yumthang Valley popularly known as the Valley of Flowers after breakfast at Lachung. It will be a journey of about one hour. You’ll pass through the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary on your route to Yumthang Valley. The ideal time to visit this sanctuary would be between April and June, when the rhododendrons are in full bloom and the sanctuary becomes a riot of colours. Yumthang is shrouded in white snow in the winter, revealing the vista of snow-capped mountains, adding to the ethereal grandeur of the location. Don’t forget to stop by the famed hot spring noted for its healing effects on your return journey from Yumthang. After checking out of your hotel and before departing for Gangtok, pay a visit to Lachung Monastery. Stay in Gangtok for the night after being served your dinner.

Day 5 : Gangtok Sightseeing & Drop to NJP/Bagdogra

After having breakfast check out from your hotel and it will be a love day to explore Gangtok’s attractions. Pay a visit to Banjhakhri Falls and Energy Park first. Next, you will be hitting Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which is a popular institute doing research on Tibetan language and culture.

Rumtek Monastery will be the next attraction to visit which is situated with an added attraction Golden Stupa. You’ll cross by a massive stupa entitled Dro-Dul Chorten on your route to Dharma Chakra Centre, which was built in 1946 to fend away evil. We will then transport you to Hanuman Tok, which you will visit a temple devoted to Lord Hanuman. The location is well famed for its stunning views of Kanchenjunga. Rope Way, where you can obtain a 360-degree perspective of Gangtok, is your final stop before leaving Sikkim. It’s time to begin your four-hour adventure to NJP/Bagdogra.
