You will be starting your journey to Gangtok from Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri Junction. You will have a journey of around 4 hours to cover the 120 Km distance of NJP/Bagdogra to Gangtok. You are now free for the day after checking into your accommodation. Take a stroll down the lovely M G Marg. Colorful souvenir stores, cafes, diners, and other attractions can be found here. While meandering along M G Marg, you will get a better look at Sikkim’s indigenous cultures, colorful traditions, and local foods. Stay in Gangtok for the night.

Day 2 : Sightseeing At Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Temple)

After breakfast, the first attraction you are going to behold is Tsomgo Lake. On the way spend some quality time at Kyongnosla falls. Also known as Chhangu Lake, it will be a journey of around two and a half hours to finally reach your hotel. This is a 2,743 ft long oval-shaped lake whose maximum width is 1,401 ft. Primulas and other Alpine vegetation can be seen around the lake during summer and autumn. During winter the lake gets frozen. Enjoy and be mesmerized by the serene beauty of the lake. From here, start your journey towards Baba Mandir which is a shrine constructed in the memory of Harbhajan Singh, an Indian army captain. He is known as the “Hero of Nathu La”. Offer him a prayer in the Mandir. After Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir sightseeing, get back to the hotel in Gangtok for dinner and a night stay.

Day 3 : Gangtok Sightseeing & Drop to NJP/Bagdogra

After having breakfast, go for Gangtok sightseeing prior to your drop at NJP or Bagdogra Airport. Visit Banjhakhri Falls and Energy Park first. Next, we will take you to Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which is known for its research on Tibetan language and culture. Vist Rumtek Monastery next, which is situated with an additional attraction Golden Stupa. You’ll pass by a massive stupa named Dro-Dul Chorten on your route to Dharma Chakra Centre. We will next transport you to Hanuman Tok, where you will visit a temple devoted to Lord Hanuman. The location is well recognized for its stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, the world’s third tallest mountain peak. Before leaving Sikkim, experience Rope Way, where you can get a breathtaking view of Gangtok. It’s time to begin your four-hour adventurous returning journey to NJP or Bagdogra Airport.
