Day 1 : Transfer to Sillery Gaon

Our Representative will receive you on your arrival at NJP/ Bagdogra and will take you to your first destination Sillery Gaon. It will take around 4 hr to reach Sillery Gaon after covering approximate 94 km distance. Situated at an altitude of 6,000 ft Sillery Gaon is a small settlement of Kalimpong district of West Bengal. Sillery Gaon is becoming popular for the majestic view of Mt. Kanchenjungha and other snow-capped peaks. While on your way towards Sillery Gaon virid lofty mountains, rolling tea gardens and pine forest will surely mesmerise you. After checking in to your resort you are free to spend rest of the day as per your choice. Best idea will be taking a stroll around the village and don’t forget to visit the Sangchhen Dorjee Monastery of this village. Historically this old monastery is very important as it was built during the Bhutanese rule in Pedong. Stay overnight at Sillery Gaon.

Day 2 : Sillery Gaon Sightseeing & Transfer to Aritar

Wake up early to witness the magical charisma of the nature in form of sunrise over Kanchenjungha. After having your breakfast you will go for the sightseeing of Sillery Gaon. The breathtaking view from Ramitey view point will leave you spellbound with the panoramic view of river Teesta. You can see 14 bends of the Teesta from here. The last home of Lepcha King remains in the ruins of Damsang fort. Ask locals about the legendary love story of Damsang fort. Tinchuley view point will take out your breath completely with the panoramic vista of the mountainous valley. After having lunch now it is the time to say adios (goodbye) to Sillery Gaon. It will take around 2 hr to reach Aritar via Reshikhola from Sillery Gaon. You can take a short journey break near Reshikhola to take some clicks. The picturesque little hamlet Aritar is situated at an altitude of 4,915ft in East Sikkim. Aritar is known for its rich history and beautiful landscape. Here your accommodation is arranged in a home stay. After checking in you are free to take a stroll around the place to feel the serene and tranquil nature from bottom of your heart. Stay overnight at Aritar.

Day 3 : Aritar Sightseeing & Transfer to Zuluk (Dzuluk)

Early in the morning take a 20 minutes trip to Mankhim to witness yet another jaw dropping sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjungha. After sunrise return to your home stay and have your breakfast then you will start your day’s sightseeing. One of the oldest natural lakes in Sikkim is this boot shaped lake Lampokhari Lake. Recently this emerald green lake artificially constructed to facilitate boating for the tourists. Your next destination is Aritar Gumpha (monastery) which has very rich collection of artefacts, murals and paintings. Its beautiful architecture will surely catch your eyes. On the hilltop of Mankhim is situated a ‘Rai’ temple known as Mankhim temple. View of Kanchenjungha from this place is really breathtaking. After lunch is the time to start for Zuluk is also spelled as Dzuluk. It is around 2 hr journey from Aritar to cover 42 km distance. Situated at an elevation of 10,600 ft the pictorial settlement Zuluk is perched on the rugged terrain of East Sikkim. Reach Zuluk and check into a home stay. Freshen up and you are free for the rest of day to adore the surreal beauty of Zuluk. Stay overnight at Zuluk.

Day 4 : Zuluk Sightseeing & Transfer to Nathang (Gnathang)

Situated at a distance of 14 km from Zuluk, Thambi view point is locally known as Bhulbhulaiya for its 30 hair pin bends. To watch another phenomenal sunrise over the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas along with the guardian peak of the Sikkim get ready early morning. The Ladakh of Eastern India Nathang valley is your next destination. Nathang also spelled as Gnathang. Have your breakfast and check out from your home stay to start for Nathang. On your way to Nathang don’t forget to visit Lungthung-Dhupidara witness another glimpse of the majestic peak Kanchenjungha on one side and the winding roads of Zuluk on the other. The cave like temple of King Cobra commonly worshiped as ‘Nag Devta’ is another attraction of Zuluk. This temple is on the way to Nathang. After covering around 25 km reach Nathang and check into a home stay. After freshening up you are free for the rest of the day to spend time as you wish and adore the beauty of Nathang. Day 5 : Nathang Sightseeing & Transfer to Gangtok

To experience yet another breathtaking sunrise over the Eastern Himalayas revealing the snow-peaked mountains and Tibetan Plateau wake up early in the morning. Situated at an altitude of 13,700 ft is an abandoned army bunker Eagle’s Nest. The view from Eagle’s nest will take your breath out of you. After returning to Nathang and having breakfast checkout from the home stay to start your journey towards Gangtok, the capital town of Sikkim. On the way to Gangtok visit Old Baba Mandir a shrine made in the honour of an Indian army Captain ‘Baba’ Harbhajan Singh. Kupup Lake also known as the Elephant Lake is one of the most sacred lakes in Sikkim. Surrounded with high mountains and valleys Kupup lake offers a spectacular view to the travellers. On your way to Gangtok give few journey breaks to visit Menmecho Lake, Tukla Valley, Jelepla Pass, Yak Golf Course, Ice Hockey Field, The glacial lake Tsomgo (Chhangu) Lake at an altitude of 12,313 ft. After covering around 70 km reach Gangtok check in to the hotel reserved for you. After freshening up you are free for the rest of the day to stroll around MG Marg and try the local delicacies. Stay overnight at Gangtok.

Day 6 : Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast it’s time to explore Gangtok. At first you will visit Banjhakhri Falls and Energy Park. ‘Ban’ means Forest and ‘Jhakhri’ means Shaman. The park is in a thickly forested part of Swastik about 7 km from Gangtok and is a natural waterfall sourced from springs. Next you will visit Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, World’s renowned institute doing its research on Tibetan language and culture. Next destination is Hanuman Tok which is a Hanuman Temple. This place offers one of the most breathtaking views of world’s 3rd highest mountain peak Mt. Kanchenjunga (28,169 ft). Next is lunch time. In post Lunch session from Deorali Bazaar you will have Rope Way ride for a bird’s eye view of Gangtok. Next you will visit Botanical Garden to witness beautiful collection of trees and plants with their scientific names. And finally it is Tashi View Point & Ganesh Tok to witness the surreal sunset over the lofty Himalayan Valley. Stay overnight at Gangtok.

Day 7 : Drop to NJP

After an early breakfast check out from your hotel and head to NJP while saying ‘Alvida’ (goodbye) to Sikkim. With an approx distance of 120 km it is an overall 3 to 4 hrs drive to reach NJP from Gangtok. Throughout your journey you will be accompanied by the pictorial view of thick virid woods and scenic valley of Rolling Meadows. If time allows have some refreshment on the way to NJP. Do make a stop on Coronation Bridge to witness the view of the emerald blue River Teesta gently cascading through the lofty valleys that will be a perfect way to end your trip. After you reach NJP your 6 Nights and 7 Days Tour Package will come to an end.
