Get received once you reach Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Junction. You have to cover 94 km road distance to reach Sillerygaon. Nestled at an elevation of 6000 feet above sea level, Sillery Gaon is an emerging tourist destination from where Kanchenjunga can be seen with its full glory. Once you reach Sillery Gaon, you will be checking in to the preserved homestay in Sillerygaon. You will get some remaining time to wander around on your own. Sillerygaon sightseeing will start quite early. Ramitey’s viewpoint, Damsang Fort, Tinchuley Viewpoint, and other sights will be visited by you. You’ll get a fantastic panoramic view of the surroundings from these vantage points. After lunch, it’s time to bid Sillery Gaon farewell. It will take approximately 2 hours to travel from Sillery Gaon to Aritar via Reshikhola. Aritar, a lovely little village in East Sikkim, is 4,915 feet above sea level. Aritar is noted for its fascinating history and breathtaking scenery. Here, you’ve reserved a room at a homestay. After checking in, you are free to roam about the grounds and take in the peaceful atmosphere.

After spending a memorable night at Aritar, today is the day of Aritar sightseeing. Before breakfast and quite early in the morning, go to visit Mankhim from where you will be able to catch a fascinating view of Kanchenjunga. Return to your homestay after sunrise for breakfast before beginning your day’s sightseeing. Visit Lampokhari Lake, which is shaped like a boot. Aritar Gumpha is the next destination on the itinerary ( Gumpha means monastery). It houses a large collection of artifacts, murals, and paintings. Its stunning architecture will undoubtedly catch your attention. Mankhim temple is a ‘Rai’ temple located on the hilltop of Mankhim. The view of Kanchenjunga from here is absolutely breathtaking.

After lunch, our driver will transfer you to Zuluk which is approximately a 42 km driving distance away from Aritar. Zuluk, a pictorial settlement perched on the rugged terrain of East Sikkim, is located at an elevation of 10,600 feet above the sea level. Arrive in Zuluk and book a homestay. You can spend the rest of the day admiring Zuluk’s surreal beauty after you freshen up. Stay the night in Zuluk.

Your day starts with a short sightseeing excursion to Thambi Viewpoint. It is approximately a 15 km driving distance away from Zuluk. From here, you will be able to witness a spectacular sunrise over the mighty Himalayan peaks. Your next halt will be Nathang Valley in Eastern India’s Ladakh region. Gnathang is another spelling of Nathang. Have breakfast and check out of your homestay to begin your journey to Nathang. On your way to Nathang, spend some time at Lungthung-Dhupidara. The cave-like temple of King Cobra commonly worshiped as ‘Nag Devta’ will be on the way to Nathang, you will pay a visit to it. After covering around 25 km reach Nathang and check into a homestay. you will be left with some time. In the evening, you will be served your dinner and after that, night stay.

Get up early in the morning to see another spectacular sunrise over the splendid Himalayan rage, displaying the snow-capped mountains and Tibetan Plateau. Eagle’s Nest, an abandoned army bunker, is located at a height of 13,700 feet from where the view of the surrounding is truly mesmerizing. After returning to Nathang and eating breakfast, check out of the homestay. Begin your drive to Gangtok, Sikkim’s capital. In Gangtok, check into your accommodation.
